Worms and Another Giveaway!

Melissa , besides being one of my best friends and a great sister-in-law, is quite the fiber artist. Her work is some of the best I have ever seen. She crochets and felts, and I have never seen anybody as talented with a crochet hook as she is. Yes, our Melissa's quite the hook... um, I mean....well... never mind! :)

So, anyway, when she told me about her idea for a giveaway, I knew all of you would love it. Here's the deal - go to Thistledew Farm. Tell her what kind of hat you want and the colors, and if you win, she'll make it for you. This is really a big deal, because her work is amazing. She forgot to list a deadline, so hurry and enter before she remembers! :)

Oh, and let me tell you about my worms! We are very into recycling and organic gardening here at Thistledew Farm, so this spring I started vermicomposting. I'll go into more detail tomorrow, but for now let me just say I had given up all hope and written it off as a failure and those sneaky little worms went behind my back and successfully composted a bin full of material! Hooray for worms! Tune in tomorrow if you want to know how to build your own worm composting system for practically nothing!
