was as busy as I suspected it would be. I finally finished around five this morning. Two of the patients were under the age of 8, but the injuries, although bad enough to require surgery, weren't life-threatening, thank goodness!
This photo was taken at about 4:30 this morning and I was trying very hard to stay focused - after about 14 hours it becomes more difficult. I'm glad I only have one more overnight call scheduled!
Have a great holiday, everyone, and say a little prayer for the folks who can't be with their families to celebrate Independence Day!

Thinking of you and hope you have a nice weekend.
Oh my goodness. I don't know how you do it, Terri. I'm glad I don't have to work those kinds of hours.
Take a slow weekend. May freedom continue to ring ... Happy 4th ... TTFN ~ Marydon

I don't think I've mentioned the fact that I find women in uniform very attractive. Even if a "dismige" is covering part of their face. ;~P
Thank you, everyone! It was a rough night, but I survived! One more overnight call before I finish school, and that one comes right before several days off, so I'll have plenty of time to recuperate! :)
