Throw Me A Line!

Because I think I'm drowning, here! School is getting a bit overwhelming at the moment - mostly because I am deep in the throes of producing a thesis, and I'll spare you the details, but if you don't see much of me for a month or so, that's why. Still, as with anything, if it's worth doing it's worth doing right, so I'll persevere.

I hope all of you are having a fabulous New Year and I'll continue popping by your blogs when I need a break, and I'll try really hard to update here at least twice a week. Heck, if nothing else I can post a photo of a different chicken each week and that'll get me through three months, right? Hehehe - "Chicken of the Week" - I think I may have to do at least a few of those! :)

I wish you the best with your thesis - I am so very proud of you! Chicken of the Week sounds like something I could get used to.

Thanks so much for the kind words, Mildred - you are a good friend! The chicken thing was a joke, but then I thought about my funny-looking girls... they're kind of a hodge-podge of mixed breeds, so they are NOT the well-groomed chicks you see in the catalogs. Oh, no - my girls are more like their mama, so perhaps some photos are in order! :)

I have yet to see or hear them. GamerBoy says they are real but you could have bribed him to say that. ;) I think they are a figment of your overactive imagination. Right???

Good luck on the thesis. I know you can do it.

Haha, I see I must post some chicken photos... if only to salvage my reputation! :)

Gamerboy did see my chickens - he even gathered the eggs!

Kim, your painting looks fabulous and I am sure I will survive this, as you did! :)

First, thanks for leaving the sweet comment on my blog!! John is feeling better, so we will just take it day by day.
And, what the heck...there are days when I wonder what to write on my blog and I wish I had chickens to go for it!!! LOL

Hi Terri
You had better take the time to concentrate on your Thesis. Yikes it sounds like you will be busy with that but you'll feel good when its done.
We'll all be here waiting...and waiting for the odd chicken pic too!
have a nice day

Here CATCH!!

That was me throwing you a line. ;D

Hang in there with the thesis and all you are dealing with. You will get through it and it will be worth the work when you are done.

I'll be thinking of you. :-)
