Because all of you need another project about as badly as I do. But, if you've ever wanted to learn to quilt, or go back to quilting, or if you just like doing community-style projects, you really have to check out Old Red barn Co - Quilt Along.This is a 6 week quilt-along. It's free, it's part tutorial/part group project and the best part is that you'll end up with a quilt of your own. Oh, and the quilt-along culminates in the giveaway of a brand new Janome sewing machine. Imagine what you could do with that baby! Hey, and if you don't want it, I know someone who would LOVE to take it off your hands! :)

My paternal grandmother quilted, my mom does, and one of my sisters. I've never taken up the craft myself. But handmade quilts are exceptionally beautiful. I have one each from the three family members I mentioned. I don't think I have enough "resves" to be a good quilter.
I do need another project! Not really, but wouldn't it be fun?!
