Chocolate Covered Strawberries

Valentine's Day is tomorrow - can you believe we're already half way through February? I'm not complaining, mind you. Oh, no - February can sneak on out as far as I'm concerned and I won't even miss it.

But, I like to do something special for the man of the house (and the boys of the house) on Valentine's Day, so this year I'm making Chocolate Covered Strawberries for everybody on Thistledew Farm. And, they look so easy, and the strawberries were so fresh, that I thought I'd share the link. You can find the recipe here: http://www.foodnetwork.com/recipes/food-network-kitchens/chocolate-covered-strawberries-recipe/index.html and make chocolate-covered strawberries for somebody you love! Or, just eat them all yourself. :)

I love them!! Keith brought home 8 for us to split from the local Deli. So I won't be making any more. I'll have to find something else to make for him tomorrow.

I'm not going out today. I'm not going out today. I'm not going out today.

I'll just have to file the recipe away. Or, if I do go out, it's going to be to YOUR house!!!

I did get a card. And Dak made some cherry bunnos that I picked up at the store.

Couldn't you just make a few extra and fed-x them my way? Thanks! ;)

Susie, they turned out great! I made bunches of them! :)

YP, you should be over here, helping me eat these! I'll have to bring some when we have lunch, if I can find more berries, that is!

Julia, they're on the way - but the Fedex guy looked suspiciously like one of my sons, so I;m not sure how that'll work out.

Peggy, they were so easy to make and the guys here loved them. Really, it took less than 30 minutes to make 60 of them - drying each berry took the longest.

I looked at the strawberries at the grocery store but then opted for chocolate pie - another weakness of mine. Have a great day.
