Stormy Weather

We had a very short, very severe chain of storms come through this afternoon, just as I was driving home from the hospital. Those who know me well know I really don't like driving, and I like it even less when the weather is bad. And, boy, was this weather bad!

We had tornadoes in the area, driving rain, wind gusts up to 70 MPH and hail. Luckily, I missed the worst of the weather by listening to the radio and skirting around the areas that were hit. I was a bit white-knuckled during the worst of it, but I just kept a steady, sensible pace. And I made it home in one piece. And the storms have moved east, and we have clear skies again.

So, if you're east of Tennessee - look out - the storms are headed your way! Keep an eye out and stay safe out there!

Very thankful you made it home safely. We did have a lot of rain late this afternoon and strong wind but it is clear now. Hope you have a peaceful night.

Glad you made it through the storms okay.

We had them here in my area. The winds were horrible.... 80 mph gusts, etc.

We had lots of rain but I don't think we got the hail they predicted.

I'm glad they are gone now tho!!

Well I am certainly glad you made it home safely. We were suppose to get some of that but luckily we didn't. That's the only thing bad about spring. Along with it comes the storms.

Plenty of horizontal rain here. I almost thought the tress across the street had a new 90 degree bend!

The wind decided it didn't like where we had out grill on the back deck and graciously moved it for us. Fortunately Gamer Boy managed to snag all the garbage cans and the lawnmower and grill cover before they went on a field trip of their own.

Glad you made it home safely. We had some high winds go through here, but no problems except a few branches down here and there.
