We're expecting snow here tonight. It's the first of March. If March comes in like a lion, in this case it's a cold lion.
So, we'll throw some extra feed in to the hens and sneak a bit extra to the horses, and hunker down inside to try to stay warm. And hope that this lion is followed closely by the lamb of spring!
Stay warm, everyone!

I remember first hearing about the lion and the lamb reference in 1st grade. I LOVED it! I will always remember sitting in Mrs. Maxwell's class and trying to decide if it was a lion day or a lamb day. :)
We've also only had all of maybe 6 in of snow all winter. A bit different from last years 10 feet.
Heidi, I think we've had more snow here in Tennessee than you've had in the northwest this year. That's sad, isn't it? Oh, and today is a lion day here! :)
Hi Terri, It was almost 60* here today but winter weather advisory is on for tonight. How strange!
Stay safe and cozy!

Terri, I think I am as ready as you are to welcome that lamb. We did finally have some warmer temperatures and a bit of sunshine yesterday. We still have lots of snow on the ground, but I hope it will all melt away soon.
Wishing you lots of sunshine!!
I hope your weather gets better Terri. I too am so ready for spring and all the loveliness it brings.
Oh stay warm and cozy! Winter will be gone all too soon and the heat will be here with a vengeance....
Mildred, we had snow today but it turned into rain. It will be ice in the morning, I'm afraid! Thank goodness for four-wheel drive!
Daisy, I hope your snow melts soon!
Susie, I hope so, too!
Julia, I need to remind myself of that often!
