I woke up this morning, and decided to do a blog post about staining my bookshelves (more on that later) when I noticed a new comment. Lo and behold, it was Kylie from Threads of Friendship telling me I won the bag giveaway!!! I never win anything, so I am incredibly excited. And Kylie has a princess at HER house that seems to love butterflies, much like our own princess - thanks and kisses to the butterfly princess who drew my name!
I am (as Melissa will attest) truly dreadful with colors. Picking colors for anything is torture - you know how the rest of you see something, and then see something else in a different shade and know instantly if the two things go together or not? Well, I can't do that - I didn't get that gene. Unless it's patently (and boringly) obvious, I can't pick coordinating colors. That's what I have Melissa for! Now you know the secret to our friendship. :)
So, I cheated a bit on this bag - I picked the main fabric (the pomegranate one) and asked Kylie & Janelle to coordinate a top. Clearly, from looking at their blog, these ladies know a little something about color, so I can't wait to see what they choose! Thank you both once again for hosting such a great giveawy - I adore handmade items and I just know I'm going to love this bag!
