Our Barn

We have a great barn here at Thistledew. A fabulous, beautiful barn. A barn with horse stalls, and hay storage, and a tack room, and an upstairs room the length of the barn that is perfect for crafting. The problem? It only exists in our imagination. We can picture it in our minds without any difficulty, but we haven't ever actually seen a barn like it. Until now.

We found our dream barn at Barn Pros. Isn't it gorgeous? It is exactly as I had pictured it in my mind - I keep telling all my friends that our barn will be nicer than our house, and if this is our barn, that will be the truth! I think that we can have it within a year of my graduation. It might take two years. But we are learning a lot about patience on this journey, and we can wait.

In the meantime, the driveway needs a load of gravel, we need some serious landscaping (and I don't mean the kind you see on HGTV - I mean the kind you pay a guy with a big earthmover to come and do) and the horses could really use more hay. Sigh.
