I love getting packages in the mail. So, last night I was pleasantly surprised to get home and find a package from Brandyanne's Candles & Prims! The candles really smell marvelous. We got Christmas Splendor and Balsam & Spice... the Balsam and Spice smells just like those gummie candies from Christmases past, and the Christmas Splendor - well, I can't even describe it, but suffice it to say it is marvelous.
Deb also included a sample of her Prairie Prim Soap, and I think I'm in love. The scent was Lavendar Vanilla and it was light and fresh and the soap made my skin feel marvelous in the shower this morning. You simply have to try it - I really don't think there's a better soap available for the price, and, trust me - I'm a bath junkie. I've tried LOTS of soaps! Plus, I love the primitive look of the bar - and the soap balls would look great in a primitive bathroom. Do yourself a favor - stop by Brandyanne's Candles & Prims and check it out!
Finally, I want to close this with a thank you to all the veterans and their familes who have served, are currently serving or will serve. Happy Veteran's Day, everyone. We owe all of you a debt of gratitude, and I'm extending this to the families who wait at home while their loved one is in harm's way. The men and women serving our country now need our support, no matter what you think of the current conflict. Hug a veteran today!
